This title features 610 pages with more than 800 photographs, 32 pages of color artwork by Jean Restayn and 76 pages of organigrams by Weldemar Trojca(!). This book is to the radio- and remote-controlled units as the Combat History of the Panzerfager-Abtailung 653 book was to the Elefant and the Ferdinand. An absolute must for the discriminating armor fan- most of the photos have never been published before. In addition to exiting operational photos of the demolition- change carriers and the mine-clearing vehicles, there are hundreds of great shots of the command and control vehicles: the kleiner Panzerbefehlswagen, the Leitpanzer III, the Sturmgeschutz III and the Tiger. Short histories of all the remote- and radio- controlled units are presented, as well as some other armored formations which used variations of the demolition-charge carriers. For those interested in orders of battle, the organizational diagrams provide a vehicle-by-vehicle illustration of the theoretical combat strengths of all of the separate companies and battalions.
